This Little Light of Mine

My journey is an incredible one filled with heroes and heroines, battles between good and evil, forgiveness and grace, joy and sorrow, and some REALLY good adventures!  In fact, when I reflect upon my life, I realize that I have been on a lifelong adventure to find my inner light and shine it wherever I go, so I decided to write about it.  Actually, I have been writing about it for years, but I decided that I wanted to share my journey.

I didn’t decide to do this for Ego gratification.  In fact, it scares the shit out of me.  I know that sharing my stories will leave me vulnerable to the haters, but Spirit keeps telling me to do this (more about that later), so I will.  To those of you that are filled with darkness, the very implication of which will get you all riled up, I bless and shine the light of God (more on that later, too) on you.  May your heart find Love, and your soul find joy.

I want to share my adventures because I know that it is a form of self-healing that may encourage others to heal as well.  So, what is it that I am healing?  The illusion of being separated from Source and alone in the world.  To me, to be healed, or to be whole, is recognizing and understanding that we are all connected.  What I do to you, I am doing to myself and what I do to myself, I am doing to you.  That concept, if embraced, can only lead to a world filled with love and compassion, free of war and hatred and it starts with me.

Healing myself means coming into alignment with my Divine Self, which IS Love – always and completely.  By expressing my love to others through joy, compassion and understanding (shining my light), I not only heal myself, but help others heal as well.  Pretty cool set-up, if you think about it - happy people everywhere spreading joy and love wherever they go, increasing not only their happiness, but also the happiness of those around them.  We know that emotions are contagious, but we usually only pay attention when we are sucked into something negative.  Let’s start paying attention and get sucked into love and happiness!  I double dog dare you!

With that being said, I hope you enjoy the stories.  I hope that they resonate with you, so you realize you are not alone in the world, and we are all in this together.  Shine your Light wherever you go!
